Troubleshooting Steps for File Uploads:
- Check the The Leap File Specifications to ensure the image, video, or PDF file isn’t too large, or of the incorrect file type that would prevent you from completing an upload.
- Ensure your internet connection is consistent.
If you’re having trouble uploading a video file:
Please stay on the page you are uploading a video within until the video upload is complete, and Save the Product you are working on before moving on. This especially applies to large or high resolution video files, or if you are working with slower internet upload speeds.
If you’re having trouble uploading a digital file/ PDF:
The maximum file size of a digital file/ PDF is 500 MB.
To upload a Digital File /PDF file which is larger than 500 MB, you may choose to compress / zip the file, and upload the zipped file to your Digital Download Product instead. This will effectively compress the size of your PDF to under 500 MB. Your customers will need to “unzip” or decompress the file to access it upon downloading.
If you’re having trouble uploading an image, video, or PDF from an Apple mobile device or iPad:
Please note these device formats (Apple mobile devices and iPads) are incompatible with file uploads into The Leap App at this time. As a workaround, we suggest to instead, upload your file from a personal computer or desktop device. (All PC Operating Systems currently allow file uploads to the Leap App, from both Mac or Windows based OS.)
